Found this on Reddit a few minutes ago, looks like a head on with a smaller car. No photos of the damage on the Cybertruck, but the car looks worse for wear.

The CHP summary of the accident: "On December 28, 2023 at approximately 2:05 pm, CHP Redwood City units were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on SR-35 (Skyline Boulevard), south of Page Mill Road. Our preliminary investigation indicates a Toyota Corolla was traveling south on SR-35 southbound, south of Page Mill Road, at an unknown speed, when the driver, for unknown reasons, turned to the right and subsequently struck a dirt embankment on the right shoulder. The Toyota then re-entered the roadway, crossed over the double yellow lines into the northbound lane, and crashed into a Tesla Cybertruck traveling north on SR-35 northbound. The Tesla driver sustained a suspected minor injury and declined medical transportation. No other injuries were reported. It does not appear that the Tesla Cybertruck was being operated in autonomous mode. The investigation into this incident is ongoing."

Looks like the charge port may have survived the whole ordeal  🧐

This story should hit the national news cycle since it involved a Cybertruck.

"Cybertrucks pose huge danger to other motorists". Film at 11.

Spill it, how many vehicles has the ct gaggle murdered.
I only know of one other, occurred here in Austin

but that one exists that didn’t get captured on social media, points to the possibility that others could, too

That police report looks like it was AI-generated (ChatGPT, "write a police report from the California Highway Patrol with the following details..." will get you the same thing). Has anyone been able to confirm this report from CHP as the actual source? I think that's why the major news outlets are refraining (though it doesn't take much misinformation for them to write another anti-Tesla hit piece).
It's from Reddit so take it with many grains of salt.

Putting the wreck aside, the way the article is written is messed up. The writer acknowledges the fault of the accident is on the Honda. They departed from their lane on a road with minimal shoulder, left the road, over-corrected, and collided with an oncoming vehicle. That should be the end of the story, but they had to mention the Tesla's state of driver involvement as if there was ANYWHERE to move away to avoid the accident. Self driving seems to be everyone's boogieman. If a Tesla gets in an accident, they always suspect the Tesla driver. It is ridiculous.

This happens all the time up there. This isn't far from where I live, about 20 miles.

I'm up in PDX doing the holidays, tho.

I still haven't seen one on the road x-x

Police officers write their reports defensively. Whenever they imagine a question that they may be asked on the witness stand, they document that point in their written report. Attorneys are notorious for taking anything you remember but didn't write down as unreliable, at best, a malicious lie at worst.

If they imagine a bevy of reporters endlessly calling them to answer questions like "Was the Tesla driving itself?" they'll mention the answer to that question in their report to keep their phone from ringing off the hook.

We do the same on a patients chart. We write to keep the lawyers questions answered.

This brings up an FSD question. If some knucklehead totals your cybertruck, have you lost your FSD?

Get ready for the negative Tesla news. Headline: "Cybertruck in head on collision-- Still investigating if FSD was engaged."

probably but insurance would likely pay you for it. but if the price went way up you may be out of luck.

Looks like a significant impact.
CT looks good BUT the damage would have happened on the drivers side based on the damage of the sedan.

Hope everyone is physically ok.

But the owner of the CT now has to make a reservation and go to the back of the line assuming it was not a Tesla employee. Could not imagine starting that 4 year wait all over.
I've been waiting 4 years with 119 # at least 5 more to go.
