Delivery day

Accepted new delivery, truck had rust dots all over the hood scratch marks on the outside pillars and discollered marks on the back bumper. They assured me they would fix them and to set up an appointment. Started home, it started to rain and wiper would not work. Called roadside and they sent us back to service. Two hours later we were on our ride home in a loaner. Apparently the wiper motor needs to be replaced (one week until it ships). Just a little frustrated.......We will see if they can address the cosmetic issues.

I've complained about my undelivered truck on here in a few places, because they are fixing defects they found during their inspection before they let me take delivery. I suppose this would've been the alternative, it is also unfortunate.

Tesla needs to do a better job getting trucks in working order off the line. I took delivery of one of the first Lightnings ever sold, 18 months later not a single issue.
