Cybertruck V2V Bidirectional Charging Confirmed in new Tesla service center coloring books?

Sounds more like something Ford would put in their advertising brochures but I can only imagine infrequent use cases of V2V charging Teslas because of the very low incidence of Teslas getting stuck out of charging range.

But I'm sure it would be a 'lifesaver' for that rare unlucky someone, saving both time and expense if a tow truck was the only alternative.

I don't think it's about innovation, it's about value and how much extra the feature costs to add. And how much additional value would be added by not having to use the already existing Mobile Connector and 240V AC outlet, vs. whatever would be required of the internal electronics and software to enable a dedicated port to port DC charging system and having a dedicated cable only for this application, a cable that would likely cost almost as much as a Mobile Connector, which many already have and that is more useful for other purposes.

Sure, it would be cool, I just don't see many people forking out $200 for the cable when the MC would already work if someone needed V2V in the wild.

That would be about the least innovative way they could do this, but I guess really it’s for emergency purposes. So maybe 20 or 30 miles of charge in an hour would be all that’s really needed.

Or charging toys. Aka the coloring book and kid quad

Dont laugh i remember when the lightning came out they published an article about how long it would take 2 lightnings to discharge completely if you tried to charge them from each other.

Tesla is growing marketshare faster than any other automaker in the world because they offer more value than any other automaker. The Model Y is the best selling car in the world, including gas cars, precisely because it is loaded with the best technology at a value price-point and you don't have to add on a bunch of expensive trim levels or options packages to get the technology people want. Because that's what adds tens of thousands of dollars to the price of a new car or truck.

Automakers that price themselves out of the market do not have the best-selling cars in the world. Go back to "Go", do not collect your $200 and skip the next two turns.

Lucked out and scored one at the local Tesla near work, can’t wait to surprise my son with it!

Sales agents were so nice, they looked everywhere but they seem to have run out. As I was about to drive off the guy ran out to the parking lot to hand me one!

Aaah Oh wait here is key card Mr Terminator. Terminators can't mind read right. I have PIN lock on Cybertruck start so I can run away before Mr. Terminate finds out it needs a password to start .

( Note on why I said waited 5-6 years. I have late reservations ( early 2021) so I had to adjust years because I will probably not get Cybertruck until 2026/2027)
