Good to know! My ride home from Tesla was 120 miles so I’d hope that’d be enough to calibrate / ready the cameras.

I did make a service request and plan to call service center today. Kicking myself for not asking before I left yesterday
Camera calibration only takes a few minutes if you can find a three lane highway (in your direction).

Can someone with the new roof appliqué with the (without doors) over the roof could you add a photo please.

Tesla Service im talking with don’t have a clue and don’t have any 2025 cybertrucks available to look at.

frustrating they did the change and made the truck worse, but don’t advertise that they changed the door delete and have the old pictures on the purchase page.

Agreed. This is so frustrating. I will need to get my new truck to have this switched as well as I use a third party light bar and roof racks.

Yeah just ridiculous. Stupid change taking ability away from a truck. We hounded Wes on X when this change was first discovered.

Yay! Took delivery yesterday and already scheduled for service smh. The charge port does not open from the screen. It says “closing”.
but it opens via app after pressing it 2 or more times. Then there’s a grinding sound coming from the front when I reach over 30mph. Anyone encountered the same issues?

Yes! It’s almost like a grinding/plastic rattle sound combined on mine starting at 30mph.
I took it into service and they couldn’t find anything wrong and told me to drive it a bit more for things the ‘break in’. I had about 950 miles on the odo at the time. It’s still happening 500 miles later.

Assume yours is a 2025 with VIN above 60k? Mine is a 35k VIN.

I test drove one of their showroom trucks in the same 35k VIN range and it was quiet. Just motor whine noise.

Before my CT was put in the “containment hold” my VIN was a 54. Then I was assigned to a 2025 60k VIN. My guess is it’s a drivetrain issue. I was also thinking the same thing. It just needs to be broken in. Hopefully the noise goes away. I’ll update if any progress. Thank bud!

I suspect it’s not about just breaking it in. But let’s hope for the best.

The 2025 AWD only has four applique doors on the vault perimeter. The max number of cross bars you can install is two. The roof has no applique doors.

I dropped off my CT at the service center to look at the grinding noise that’s coming from the front when accelerating.
Question, does the CT make a whinny noise while accelerating and regenerating? I own a Model 3 and pretty sure it doesn’t make that noise.
