Mine shows this. Doors locked, it gave me that noise to let me know it is locked up. Looks like seat is on...

Definitely a glitch in the software. Hasn’t happened to me since the latest update but I also haven’t turned on my ventilated seats. Hopefully it’s been fixed with software. For what it’s worth I actually don’t think it’s “on” as I monitor the battery drain overnight and it doesn’t affect it.

I think you might be misinformed - seats are not cooled, they are ventilated and do not require AC to be on, just a fan in them
They are definitely cooled.

It's not near as good as the MS/X, but when my AC broke the first thing that got warm air was my seat before I felt it warm on my face.

They are tied to what you set your cabin, too. Pretty easy to test.

Seats suck air down not blow up onto your ass - so, how will they be "tied" to conditioned air?

They definitely blow. As I was describing the issue to service, they said that the seats and rear passengers would be the first to lose cooling.

Teslas prior to 2017 used to suck, but all have blown and been connected to the cooling system since then.

You're right, definitely blows and smoke just naturally goes into the seat 🤡

As someone did with the refresh Model S, do it higher, the fan is focused higher up.

Or I guess the link to the Air Conditioning that Tesla is currently working on is all a sham.

The seats are connected to the HVAC. If there was just suction (like the old Model S) that wouldn't be necessary.

is a rear AC vent, it's not a seat "connected to the HVAC":

That's fair.

When my AC went out the seat went warm first and Tesla Service said that the seats are connected to the HVAC and that the rear followed by the seats would be the first impacted with the particular issue I had (the truck needing to distribute cooling to the rear motor).

That confirmed what I felt.

There probably is two more steps that you should get in the habit of.

Listen for the door lock sound.
Look to see if the mirrors have folded.

Those are the tell-tale signs that the refrigerator light has indeed gone off.
Our Model Y uses the goat scream as the door lock sound... makes us laugh each time.
