I decided to try out the three different types of cargo nets for the bed from @BestEvMod(AOSK) / EVVida.

Cargo Net (net + 4 ABS carabiners):
I originally thought it would not be able to stretch too far but to my surprise, it was stretchy enough to accommodate various anchor points. I attached one side to the top of the bed closest to the gate then tried both sets of D-ring anchor points on the bed. Both bed D-ring locations will work. I ultimately settled on the pair of bed anchor points closer to the gate. I also tried a few other anchor variations with the attached pictures. This net feels most customizable with the various anchor point locations available in the bed of the Cybertruck.

Envelope Net (net + 4 ABS carabiners + 2 metal L-track hooks):
This is the net I was mostly curious about as it offers easy access from the bed gate. Unlike the other nets, this envelope net also came with 2 metal L-track anchor hooks that looks and feels like the OEM Tesla versions, I cannot tell them apart. After installing both L-track anchor hooks and adjusting the location of the bottle opener, the net was a quick clip into the 4 hook locations. The envelope net pairs nicely with the cargo net since they're both located next to each other. I'm able to keep my permanent accessories in the storage locker while temporary items can be stored in these nets. Both nets also cradle my two instaCrates nicely so they don't move around during driving for additional organization and storage.

Whole Bed Net (net + 4 ABS carabiners):
The whole bed net does not require any additional hooks. All 4 anchor points are on the side of the bed and hooks up easily. This net will not work with the bed divider so I will keep it in my storage locker for when it is necessary for usage.

Good tips. I see that you were able to install the MOLLE vault cargo divider without cutting the bed liner as others do to make space as the added thickness of liner makes mounting divider impossible. Is that divider in the picture the same as the one being sold at Tesla Shop? Or is the liner you have somewhat thinner?

I have the same Tesla divider. It’s not fitted onto the L-tracks correctly, rather forced on. It will move under heavy acceleration but works for me most of the time.

All the listings for these products are a mess. Both on Amazon and the company's website. They all claim to come with reinforced plastic hooks (or the "OEM style" L-track hooks) , yet many of the photos, and the video depict a metal carabiner. It's impossible to tell what you will actually get.

I think they figure the price is low enough people will just buy one of the options and keep it, even though it doesn't come with the metal "carabiners".

Do any of them come with the metal biners? Why does the marketing video depict metal biners? Why are there no dimensions listed? If I were marketing these products, I would include the relaxed dimensions and the maximum dimensions in each listing, for the convenience of my customers.

What a hot mess!

According to their latest post, the switch to the plastic carabiners are a recent change. Maybe they haven’t updated the websites yet? 🤷

Thanks for this as I was/am surprised at the high price of Tesla's bed divider as the price is much further north of what I believe the actual value to be.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. We've replaced the metal hooks with reinforced POM hooks based on customer feedback about the noise the metal hooks made while driving. We just updated our product pages, thank you so much for bringing this to us.

This is for amateurs. First time truck owner? You will soon realize this was a waste of money, it's useless. You will be dicking around with that thing far more than just organizing things properly between the frunk, back seats and under-bed compartment.

Yep, first time truck owner here for sure ;)

I use the storage locker, frunk, and underseat locations for storage but these nets give another way for me to access things easily and keep some items apart in the bed. As I mentioned in the review, I like to store more permanent items in the bed storage locker and temporary items in the net such as groceries. Plus I really like how the cargo and envelope nets keep my crates in place.

Maybe I'll change my mind later but so far, these nets are working great IMO. If it's meant for amateurs, I'm happy to be that amateur who finds them useful. :D

I ordered one based on this post and it’s been great. Lays flat and out of the way when I don’t need it and when I do, I can just shove stuff under the net to avoid it from rolling around (especially with the acceleration of this vehicle - which is likely unique vs ICE trucks).
