Yes, a few years ago I mentioned that. There are several foot holds around the CT for reaching high areas.

If those lower sills are beefy enough to serve as rock sliders,, that could also function as a “kick out” to protect the fenders. A very nice detail that helps mitigate the height of the bed walls up by the C pillar.
