I’m not sure why the service center reps told you they do the install for new orders. It’s done at the factory, which is why it’s $500 less than if you chose to buy it after delivery. That way they avoid wasting the polymer running boards, and extra labor installing/taking them off to install...

You can, but you also need the side panels as well. They don’t mount the same unfortunately. The side panels on the premium have the L-tracks integrated as well.

I am looking into the CyberTent and I saw that Tesla has an Aeroflap retrofit for owners who buy the tent. Is this retrofit just for older model Cybertrucks, or all Cybertrucks that purchased the Cybertent? Thank you!

My guess is they are ramping up production right now. 24kish Cybertrucks a year sounds about right before their offering of the 59k model. I wonder if/when they ramp up production how many models they can output a month.

Yeah on the newer models they are no longer using glue to secure them. It’s some sort of rivet now I believe. I’m assuming they will reinstall yours with that method hopefully!
