I noticed that. Not rattling yet, but if you touch it, it's obviously not secured.
Can't really visualize what you are proposing as a solution.
I was thinking about a strip of double sided tape somewhere. Not sure where.
You can add it later. It just plugs into the Gateway. I think they're like $8500. I wouldn't pay more than $1000 + permitting fees for installation.
Consider doing it this year so the whole project qualifies for tax credit🙂
PW is 13.5 KWHr. Looking at my bills from before I got the Tesla, I used 30-40 kwHr a day. So I would think that 13.5 kwHr would go a long way.
Or are you talking about generating enough excess solar to be able to charge the PW?
Or are you talking about those that have a system not set up to...
The "Any Power Wall + Any Charger" version of PowerShare is not functional at this time. Tesla says a software update is coming later this year to enable it.
The "3V Gateway+ UWC" version of PowerShare is functional now.
Considerations:
1. Either method involves installing a Gateway...
No. Currently CT PowerShare is a backup power source. You can only use it to power your home if you loose the grid (or you go out and disconnect yourself)!
VTH (Vehicle to Home) would enable you to use the battery as you please. You could charge it with solar during the day, and use the...
Charge vehicle using solar is definitely possible with a Powerwall.
For Duke in FL, I think TOU works different. I think net metering is applied to each time period. So power sent to the grid during peak offsets power used during peak.
I also would rather my $2500 go toward a Powerwall. The V3...
This is a bit vague. Not quite sure what you are trying to accomplish. Are you only trying to charge the truck with your solar?
A number of articles suggest this is the most cost effective way to charge your vehicle but I disagree. If you are on a TOU (time of use) rate structure, you want to...
I think we'll get the park assist visualization when FSD comes. Probably even autopark. Works well on the Y.
For now I always use the button to pull up the camera screen....even when I nose in to parking. It displays guide lines like a backup camera.
At first, when I nose in parked, I would...
Service manual talks about deflate from Service menu. Right after that it talks about removing bits from rear right wheel to expose air suspension service port and pumping up to 261 psi Nitrogen.
Deflate is part of a diagnosis for the air suspension. Not supposed to be a mode to make a low...
Unless it actually doesn't work, and you only find out when out in the boonies, and diffs won't unlock, and you can't get a tow.
Lots of good info in Service mode. Sure don't engage features that you don't understand. Lots of good info to see how systems operate.
Go into Service mode to see if you have any active alerts. (Google how to enter service mode)...Software, long press on truck, password SERVICE.
I have hidden alerts about locking Diff Calibration Error. May result in not being able to disengage lockers.
Do all new trucks have this error...
I have these alerts for no post engagement calibration. Does everyone? Are you saying they calibrate during normal driving, or with several diff unlocking?
Just got my truck back. Air suspension hose wasn't installed in Voss fittings securely.
But I went into service mode and see that I do have the no post engagement calibration alerts. Does everyone have them initially? Does it calibrate under normal driving, or do the diffs need to be...
So how does Sprayaway compare to Windex for removing or preventing fingerprints?
I've read about cleaning with Barkeepers friend and then using Windex (with Ammonia) to neutralize the acid. If Sprayaway is Ammonia free, is it not effective for that purpose?
