I did ProtectaClear and I love it. As with any coating it is all about the preparation. It took 7-10 treatments of iron remover before each panel was decontaminated. I bet this is where most people are going wrong. It takes a lot of work to truly and completely decontaminate a Cybertruck.
And to make matters worse the Powershare department seems to be completely isolated from the rest of the company with no way to contact them other than the email they sent. There seems to be no accountability for how they operate whatsoever.
About a week after placing my order I got an email from the Powershare person in my area "Carmine" asking if I was interested in Powershare. I said yes and he said my home qualifies and they want to schedule an appointment. I thought it was a little weird to schedule an appointment with no idea...
Slightly disappointing, but honestly, the fact that you picked it up Tuesday after this recall means they probably rushed to get it to you, and I wish they would do that for me. Would you rather have it now and dirty or in a week and clean? I would choose now.
I have had good experiences with the service department for our model X. Pretty seamless. But my lord, trying to receive a Cybertruck is painful. They miss the delivery window like its nothing- no message, no information. The Dealership people either don't care or don't have the ability to do...
In the app on your main page of your Cybertruck there is a little chat bubble icon with 3 dots in it in the top right of the screen. Click on that and it will open your chat window. That is your Delivery Advisor chat In the subject in the top of the chat it will say "Cybertruck Order RN....."
That is great news. Congratulations!
I tried that approach yesterday and got "We will know more about Cybertruck deliveries by the end of the week..." Ugh.
I personally think it relieves some stress to be able to vent in here with others in the same situation. At least we can chat amongst each other and share stories. It definitely makes me feel better.
Blowing off some steam is nice when stuck in CyberPurgatory.
I just dumped all my Tesla shares. That earnings call yesterday was all hot air and Elon showed a clear disregard for customers with his instant "no" to the idea of transferring FSD. This is the same vibe we are dealing with now
Woodrick can you please stop trolling people in the thread? Honest...
So messed up. They should give you the option of installing a rivet or waiting for the pre-rivitted pedal. It sounds like the same fix either way, and considering many people have got the rivet option installed why can't you?
I can only speak for myself but when I thought I was days away from taking delivery I figured, why not pay now so delivery is as smooth as it can be. I knew I was going to buy it, so why not pay a day or two early. Then... nothing happened. No delivery appointment was ever made. And now weeks...
Ugh so painful. At least your rep tried to do something for you, that sounds amazing versus what I have experienced.
Can we please have our trucks now?
