PCS total failure must have a software patch in the latest Software update 2026.145.6.7. Updated today. Restored limited home charging to 24Amps.
Before this update a PCS failure that occurred in the middle of May had stopped all AC charging. Charging the Cybertruck was limited to...
Yes, an unusual early season heavy rain in Southern California. Left the cyber truck with no functioning switch by the tailgate.
An appointment was scheduled at the service center. The replacement repair took abouthalf-day maybe less and they replaced the switch and it is working correctly...
In a year and a half ownership of my Wonderful robotic vehicle the edge of the frunk lid seems to be hitting my forehead in the exact same spot. Even after adjusting it to its top most position the edge of the lid hits my forehead.
From Grok today 4.25.26
Yes, the exact component failing in Cybertruck PCS (Power Conversion System, also called PCS2) issues is the MOSFETs (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors)—specifically the AC charging MOSFETs/transistors on the board.
The PCS is the integrated power...
I may be spoiled by the Lexus experience, mine never failed but they pro-actively replaced the part anyway. I will lookup the warranty on the PCS. Thanks, that was a helpful concept.
That is good information. Thanks.
I wonder if it’s possible to save the MOS FETs that are burning out by charging at a lower current rate, say 15 A or 20 A max.
At least until they get this run of PCS failures managed better.
My previous car, a hybrid had a similar problem that was eventually solved by simply replacing the...

Indeed, these reports ARE subjective takes. Drivers have experiences and some report their experiences. The different experiences make the reports interesting and useful.
I am definitely with you on this. This is the fastest car I’ve ever owned. I never had any muscle cars, but I did have a 327 Corvette, various motorcycles up to 1200 cc Honda Gold Wing and some racing 2 and 4 cycle dirt bikes, but this car is just crazy fast for me, it’s AWD , just a regular...
The feature showed up ‘after’ the last correct update. 4-5 days later? (Also, it’s possible the ANC may not be available on the latest lower cost AWD Cybertruck)
After the ANC update, at freeway speeds I noticed a very slight lessening of wind noise by turning it on and after a few seconds turning it off.
It does take several minutes to ‘calibrate’.
If anyone has an audio spectrum analyzer they might get better information.
similar event for myself and my wife:
FSD on an overpass HOV lane split. The cybertruck drove correctly into one side of the lane split and then instead of following into the curved lane the car decided to slightly slow and then to drive into the lane barrier. This led to a drop off beyond...
Excellent, poetic and familiar. back in the day I also had a mountain road I could practice on. This piece brings me back a few really good years. Thanks
